Plain answers to the usual questions: what the website collects, what happens to your email, what we keep, and how to get rid of it.
Who we are
UniManzil is an information and guidance service for international students. In this note, "we" means UniManzil, and "this site" means the pages you are reading now.
What this site collects
Nothing. This website has no form, no database and no account. There is no box for you to type into and no button that sends anything on your behalf.
What you do is write an email in your own mail app. The text of that email, and everything else in it, is written by you, is sent by you, and reaches us the same way it would reach anyone else you chose to write to. The website itself never sees it.
What happens when you press send
Nothing on this website happens when you press send, because the website is not the thing sending it. Pressing the button opens your mail app with a message already started and addressed to us. You decide what to write and whether to send it. If you close the app, the message goes nowhere and we never hear about it.
When the platform is live, the contact route will move into the app, where a database can hold the request. This note will say so before that happens.
What we hold once you email us
That is separate from the website, and it is the only place anything is kept:
- Your name and email address, if you put them in the message.
- Your education level, target country and the service or scholarship you asked about.
- A phone or WhatsApp number, if you choose to give one.
- Anything else you write, including your deadline and what you have prepared.
Why we keep it
- To answer you, and to keep the thread of a conversation.
- To send the one launch email you asked for, if you joined the list.
- To keep a record of a paid job, which we need for invoices and refunds.
We do not add you to a newsletter, we do not sell your details, and we do not share them with a sponsor or a partner. If a sponsor asks who our applicants are, the answer is no.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that goes nowhere is deleted after 24 months. A launch-list address is kept until the platform opens, and then deleted, because the list has done its job. A paid job keeps its invoice record for as long as tax rules require.
Your choices
Write to contact@unimanzil.com and ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. We will do it within 30 days and tell you when it is done. You do not have to give a reason.
Children
The service is meant for people old enough to apply on their own. If you are under 16, please write to us with a parent or guardian.
Changes
If this note changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it, and a material change is announced on this page rather than buried.
